The Guy's helping clear a fallen Tree

Here are some pictures of some of the boys helping clear up a large fallen tree at a women's refuge close to home. It was such a great morning and then to top it off, the girls at the refuge fed us a feast for lunch. A great team effort by all.......

Elisha Houses Update

Guys House, Lilydale - currently three guys. These guys are doing pretty well together.  One of them is going through methadone withdrawals at the moment, as the other two support him.  Please pray for his full recovery from this drug, physically, mentally and emotionally.  Pray for the two guys supporting him, that they would realise the blessing of being there for someone else.

Girls House, Croydon - currently two girls. Currently one stable girl and one girl with metal illness.  The latter has secured a place in a supportive home for people with such illnesses and will move out in the next few weeks.  Please pray for wisdom as the Elisha Care board considers the future of this house.

Guys House, Montrose - currently three guys. Please pray for these guys to be continually encouraged by the love of Jesus; that their hearts would be open to His touch.  Pray that they would find something deeper in Him, as they seek to live in community with each other.

Things are happening in Croydon!

Today Geoff, Ian and lots of guys 'got into it' at the community room in Croydon... adjusting the walls and doorways and putting in the kitchen.  There's still lots to do, but this is a great start!

Josh and Geoff, cutting strutts for a new wall; and on the right is Gunnar cooking the sausages!

Stay tuned for more action at the room in Croydon! :)
